Wave Race is a fast-paced arcade game that demands quick reactions. You steer a small arrow figure as it flies through tight passages. Inside, you will find spikes, hard walls, gears, and other nasty hazards. At first, the setup looks easy. But each section still demands good timing and fast hands.

Keep this in mind above all else. Do not hit anything.

Jump Into the Action with Wave Race

The instant you start a run, your arrow moves ahead without you doing anything. You do not deal with speed changes. You also do not stop. What you watch is the up-and-down motion.

The tunnel can get risky fast. One spike can show up right in front of you. A wall or a spinning gear can block most of the space, leaving just a thin gap. This game asks you to spot danger early. Then you make small, steady changes.

One wrong input can end the run fast.

How to Play Wave Race

The main idea is simple:

Your arrow keeps going forward on its own.
Press and hold to move up.
Let go to drop down.
Work your way through openings and past hazards.
Do not touch any part of the obstacles.
Finish the run by reaching the end point.

You are not asked to memorize a long list of moves. The real test is the timing of one control.

Wave Race Controls

The controls are made so most people can learn them right away.

Hold: Move upward and stay nearer the top.
Release: Move downward toward the floor.

Since you never stop, you must plan. If you hold too long, you may crash into the ceiling. If you release too late, you may hit something lower in the tunnel.

The goal is short, controlled presses
