What is Stratego?

Stratego is a two-player strategy game where opponents command armies, aiming to capture each other’s flag while protecting their own. Players set up their pieces in secret, making strategic placement a crucial part of the game. Each piece has a rank, with stronger units capable of defeating weaker ones in battles. However, hidden bombs and strategic deception add layers of excitement and unpredictability to each match.

How to Play Stratego

• Set Up Your Army – Each player places their units on the board in a defensive or offensive formation. Positioning is key to creating strong defenses and effective attacks.

• Move Your Pieces – Players take turns moving their pieces one space at a time, except for the scout, which can move multiple spaces.

• Attack and Capture – When a piece moves onto an opponent's piece, the two battle based on their rank. The higher-ranked piece wins, but bombs and spies can change the outcome.

• Find and Capture the Flag – The ultimate goal is to locate and capture your opponent’s flag while keeping your own protected.
