What is Incredibox?

Incredibox is a bright and engaging music video game in which you drag symbols with different sounds over the characters to create music and produce beautiful songs.

So Far So Good, a French firm, developed and published Incredibox, a musical beatbox game and website. The idea is simple: drag and drop sound icons onto different characters to do beatboxing. The player can look for combos to obtain animated bonuses and record mixes to add to their rating. An automatic method is also provided to generate an infinite randomness composition.

Incredibox has assembled a colorful and eccentric cast of characters to serve as your personal beatbox team. Layering different sounds on top of each other to create dynamic pieces of music is a lot of fun. Children acquire composing skills while having fun by deploying various elements such as beats, melodies, and effects onto different characters. There is no such thing as a 'bad' sound, so whatever the player picks will always fit into the mix in a nice way, making it easy on parents and instructors' ears, even if it may become a little monotonous.

Game Rules

You will be presented with a screen divided into three sections. The major attraction is your virtual stage, where the aforementioned nuts will perform under your expert supervision. Control buttons for playing, pausing, and recording the tune can be found at the top. Finally, at the bottom is the heart of the entire game - rows of sounds all grouped into themes that are icon-coded to make it clear which is which.

The beatboxing effects are always the foundation. You have access to an entire drum kit, from kick drum to hi-hat, as well as a slew of extras like tongue clicks, lip pops, and throat noises. After you've established your rhythm section, you may add instrument imitations (guitar riffs, trumpets, keys, and more), vocal harmonies (from basic oohs and aahs to full-fledged text lines), and special sound effects (R2D2-like beeps, odd crackling echoes, and so on). You may create something truly unique and wonderful by dragging and dropping all of this diversity onto the virtual stage!
