What is Sprout Valley?

Stardew Valley was originally known as Sprout Valley while it was being created. However, Concerned Ape decided to modify the name during development to sound more creative.

Sprout Valley is a peaceful haven where you can reconnect with nature and grow the garden of your dreams. This new agricultural simulator game promises to be a breath of fresh air, allowing players to take on the role of a dedicated gardener and embark on a journey of growth, discovery, and tranquillity.

Game Rules

You play the main character, Nico, a charming cat who is looking for a tranquil spot to live. Nico will meet new people and learn about interesting events along the journey. Assist him in discovering the mysteries that Ostara possesses. The goal will be to gather resources and improve the quality of life on your island. Plants can be grown, and the environment can be harvested for more materials.

You can sell and buy the resources you've amassed. Utilize your tools to achieve your aim of living a calm existence filled with harmony and nature. Because levels are generated procedurally, the possibilities are almost limitless. Each level has a "seed" that can be shared with other players in the future to replicate islands and spread them across the user base.

A dynamic weather system is in place to add some dynamism to the global environment. There will be some extra weather-related mechanics, such as the ground being wet when it rains, and so on. There are numerous amazing events in the game that are related to the weather or the time of day.
