NHL Grid
What is NHL Grid?
The NHL Grid has captivated hockey enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of strategy, trivia, and critical thinking. This interactive puzzle engages fans by challenging them to match players with specific criteria, diving deep into the rich history of the National Hockey League. Let's explore this intriguing challenge and discover how it puts your NHL knowledge to the ultimate test.
Gameplay
The NHL Grid is a puzzle that seamlessly blends hockey facts and brain-teasing excitement. Here's how it works:
Two Criteria, One Player: In each square of the NHL Grid, you'll find two criteria. Your task is to guess a player who matches both of these criteria at some point in their hockey career.
Meeting the Criteria: To make a valid guess, the player must have fulfilled both criteria at some stage in their career. For instance, if the criteria are "TOR" (Toronto Maple Leafs) and "50+ goal season," the player must have played for the Maple Leafs and achieved a 50+ goal season, even if not specifically for Toronto.
Team Inclusion: Players count for a team if they have played at least one game for that team in its entire franchise history. For example, a player who played one game for the Atlanta Thrashers would count for the Winnipeg Jets.
Guess Wisely: You have a total of nine guesses, and each square you tap on counts as one guess. The challenge is to make each guess count by strategically matching players to the criteria.
Redemption on Incorrect Guesses: If you guess a player incorrectly, don't worry! You can make the same guess again. This gives you the opportunity to correct your choice and get back on track.
