Squirdle made a wise choice by choosing a fantastic time to be born. The highly anticipated spinoff title, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, will be out on January 28. It has been two months since the release of the newest mainline Pokémon games, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
To correctly guess a five-letter word in six tries is the object of the word puzzle game Wordle. In the Squirdle version, which offers players eight chances to guess a Pokémon's name correctly, similar gameplay can be observed.
Squirdle players start off by making up names for their Pokémon. Players can use a line of hints that the game spews out to identify the daily Pokémon. It will inform them if the generation and type are correct by displaying a green square for an accurate estimate. Additionally, players can determine whether the monster they predicted is larger and heavier than the actual one.
The Wordle clone shows gratitude to seasoned Pokémon fans who gave up on the series after the first generation. In Firebrand, there is a mode that only uses Pokémon names from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. It is the best if you don't want to have to remember all 898 creatures (and counting).
Squirdle can be found on Fireblend's website, where you can also start making daily Pokémon predictions. If his conversations with gamers on Twitter are any indication, he'll be updating the game and, hopefully, adding even more generation-specific options.
