Bigramle

What is Bigramle?

Bigramle is an innovative word puzzle game where the objective is to correctly guess a six-letter word. What sets Bigramle apart from other word games is its focus on bigrams—combinations of two letters that you must piece together to form the target word. Each day presents a new puzzle, and you have six tries to solve it. The game challenges you to think strategically and use logical reasoning to figure out the correct combination of bigrams that make up the word.

Rules of the Game

  • Objective: The goal of Bigramle is to guess the correct six-letter word within six attempts. Each day, a new word is chosen for players to decipher.

  • Making a Guess: Start by selecting and arranging bigrams (two-letter combinations) displayed on the keyboard to form a valid six-letter word. After entering your guess, the game will provide feedback to help you refine your next attempt.

  • Color-Coded Feedback: After each guess, the color of the boxes will change to indicate how close your guess is to the correct word:

    • Green Box: The bigram is in the correct position in the word.
    • Yellow Box: The bigram is part of the word but is in the wrong position.
    • Gray Box: The bigram is not in the word at all.
  • Guessing the Word: Use the feedback from each guess to adjust your strategy and make more informed guesses. Remember, you only have six tries to figure out the correct word.

  • Winning the Game: Successfully guess the correct word within six tries to win the round. If you don’t get it right, the correct word will be revealed, and you can try again with a new puzzle the next day.

Tips for Success

  • Understand Bigrams: Familiarize yourself with common bigrams in the English language. Knowing frequent two-letter combinations like "TH," "ER," "IN," and "ON" can give you an edge when forming your guesses.

  • Start with Common Words: Begin your game with common six-letter words that have a balanced mix of vowels and consonants. This will give you a good foundation and useful feedback from the color-coded boxes.

  • Pay Attention to Feedback: The color-coded boxes are your key to solving the puzzle. Green boxes indicate that you’re on the right track, while yellow boxes suggest that the bigram is part of the word but needs to be repositioned. Use this information to refine your guesses.
