Climb It Up

What is Climb It Up?

Climb It Up is an enticing fantasy climbing game that merges logical puzzles with skilful movements. Each stage puts you on a vertical wall where handholds are distributed everywhere. What’s your objective? With your hands and feet, move on those grips to get to the bright endpoint — hit it to win and advance to the next level.

It is not a climbing game only for action fans, nor a reflex game solely for pure climbers — it is a handhold puzzle rewarding one's coming up with a smart solution, choosing the right position, and using the grips available in a very efficient way.

How to Play Climb It Up - Step-by-Step Gameplay

Basic controls

  • To enable a hand or a foot to be moved towards it, tap a handhold
  • When your character can get to the endpoint, tap it to finish the level
  • One important thing to know: at no point may both hands be off the handholds

Movement rules

  • During levels 1 and 2, one limb only (one hand or one foot) can use one handhold. These two levels teach lessons in spacing and sequencing.
  • In levels 3 and upwards, the larger handholds are appearing — they will permit both hands or both feet to occupy the same hold simultaneously, thus bringing more strategic options.
  • Use logical sequences: plan moves that keep at least one hand anchored while advancing opposite limbs.

Level Design & Strategy

Early levels (1–2): Learn the constraints

  • Swaps should be efficient: move a foot, then the free hand, then secure the hand before releasing the other hand.
  • In these stages, treat each hold as single-use — once you leave some positions, they may be unreachable again.

Mid-game (3–10): Bigger handholds, wider choices

  • Big handholds are good to use as support with hands or feet. Make use of these to change position safely or to establish a "base" for reaching far grips.
  • Think two moves ahead: a move that looks good now might strand you if you don’t leave a reachable anchor.

Advanced levels: Complex puzzles and chaining

  • Chains of holds and leap moves appear. Look for patterns where one larger hold can be the pivot for a long reach.
  • Time your taps — some fantasy variants introduce timed platforms or subtle shifting holds.
