Planet Merge
Explore the Universe in Planet Merge
Planet Merge is a space puzzle game; it kinda makes you think while you play. You’re tasked with merging planets to create larger, brighter celestial bodies. You begin with tiny worlds; your goal is to connect matching ones until you reach the mighty Sun. Every launch feels simple, but you really have to plan, because cosmic gravity gives you an advantage; it makes you regret not using it.
It’s relaxing, yes, but also strategic in a way that sneaks up on you. The controls stay simple, while the puzzle side keeps changing. So, each move is not just a move; it matters.
How Planet Merge Works
The rules are pretty easy to get. You throw planets into a circular play area, then you try to link identical planets. When two matching planets meet, they merge and become a larger planet. That keeps going through ten planet stages, and step by step you get closer to creating the Sun.
But as the board fills, placement becomes more “serious.” If you drop a planet in the wrong spot, it can block future merges, and suddenly the game feels way harder than it should.
Controls and Gameplay Tips
Basic Controls
- Move your cursor, or the aim marker, to decide where the planet drops.
- Click, or tap, to launch the planet into the play area.
- Then watch carefully as gravity, collisions, and the bounce mess with the final position.
Tips for Success
- Before you launch, consider several moves ahead; don’t just react.
- Try to keep similar planets near each other; that makes merging smoother.
- Leave spare space for bigger planets as they appear.
- Don’t overfill the circular arena; it will trap you.
Also, remember this part: if a planet shows up outside the play zone, the game ends right away.
