Game Rules
Every day in the Reversle game, you must solve a mystery puzzle. The rules of this word daily game, similar to wordle, are basic and straightforward.
Reversle's problem is a 5-by-5 grid with a 5-letter word that is already known at the beginning of the game. The solution has already been printed on all of the green tiles in the fifth row, and the players must guess the remaining words that fit inside the fixed yellow, green, and grey tiles. Reversle differs from Wordle in that it includes 5 rows and requires you to guess in the wrong direction. The green and yellow tiles, on the other hand, can be interpreted as clues. Another significant difference is that you only have a limited amount of time to guess the remaining four incorrect words.
Wordle rules are used to determine how to guess on Reversle. You can't, for example, insert a letter in a gray column or just above it in a yellow column in the solution word. Similarly, if a green "fixed green" tile appears in the guess rows, the letter that corresponds to it must be written there for the entry to be valid. You should also be aware of what occurs when your Reversle guess is accepted. If you enter an estimate and press enter to submit it, and the system accepts it, the entire row gets added to the grid and cannot be changed. However, this has no effect on how you play Reversle because the game isn't very particular about where and when letters appear.
