What is Squareword?

Squareword is a word puzzle game with a 5x5 grid. It starts with some previously placed letters in the puzzle. Create legal words in each row and column using the free letters list.

Squareword is a daily word game with a similar concept to Wordle but a different playing style. It is playable in two dimensions. We can attest that the game is addictive because new puzzles are added every day.

It's a simple game. To reveal the word square, you must correctly guess five letters. Squareword will show you how many times you tried to solve the word square. It will then prompt you to share it on social media. In daily mode, you can only play it once per day. You may, however, continue to play it in random mode for as long as you like. You can put your intelligence to the test right now!

Game Rules

Each game has a 5 x 5-word grid in both dimensions.

Enter valid 5-letter words using the keyboard; your entered phrase will appear on the light blue top row alongside the button with a number that displays all entered words when pressed.

If the letters match the entered word, they will be highlighted in green on the word grid. If you enter a word that contains the letters but not in the correct order, they will be added to the row's final light gray square.

• Green letter - no other words will use that letter and it has been correctly placed.
• Yellow letter - this letter must be correctly positioned.
• The letter gray has been entered but is not used in any words.
• White-letter - no data entered.
