Noillirk
Noillirk is a survey-style puzzle game where the objective is to guess the popular answer to a given question within a given amount of time. You don't get points for being creative in Noillirk. You earn points by predicting the answers other people give. It's basically thinking like everybody else. There are some games that give you points for thinking like an individual. There are a lot of trivia games that do that, but Noillirk is completely the opposite. Being unique or creative can give you points, but other answers can be worth a lot more.
Noillirk can get quite intense in the later stages, especially with a 20-second time limit. Each answer has a score based on how many people give it, and it can go up to 100 for the most common. There are other answers, but the lowest it goes is 4.
One Question, One Answer, One Chance to Rise
The prompt may be, “What is a common object that gets lost?” There are a bunch of different survey prompts. You have about 20 seconds to answer one of them. Your points increase the more other people respond the same as you.
The top answer gets 100 points; others get less. A unique or very rare answer gets 4. The better strategy isn’t always something unique.
Your points take you on a journey to climb above the canopy. What if you make it to the goal of 700? 14,000 meters in height.
Tricks of the Trade in Noillirk
- Simplicity is best: Commonly offered responses are most likely correct.
- Guess like everyone else: Ask yourself what ordinary people would offer.
- Manage your time: Ensure your decision is made before the time expires.
- Keep it on topic: Your response is rejected and your time is lost if you provide the wrong response.
