What is Gubbins?
Gubbins is a fun puzzle game in which you place tiles to make words with the help and hindrance of strange little friends called Gubbins. Minimalist typography and mischievous cartoons serve as a surreal backdrop for moreish wordplay. It's basically Solitaire meets Scrabble with hilarious friends causing mayhem.
Game Rules
The game is played with a deck of cards at the bottom (this is where the Solitaire aspect comes in). The letters on the cards are sometimes single and sometimes in groups. You must arrange the cards on the board to form words. More cards will be revealed beneath as you do so. Unlike Scrabble, you get points for clearing the words rather than placing them. This means you don't have to worry about whether the letters you've arranged form words. As a result, it appears to be more relaxed.
Minimalist typography and oddball cartoons serve as a backdrop for moreish wordplay. Dig through the draw pile and create words on the board with your hilarious friends.
