What is Pokedoku?

Pokedoku is a captivating online puzzle game that blends the classic Sudoku gameplay with the beloved world of Pokémon. Unlike traditional Sudoku, where you fill in the grid with numbers, Pokedoku challenges you to fill in a 9x9 grid with Pokémon. The goal is to ensure that each row, column, and 3x3 box contains the correct Pokémon without making any mistakes.

Gameplay

The game's purpose is to fill in all 9 boxes with the correct Pokemon!
You have only nine guesses, so select wisely! There is no margin for error.
If the box falls between the categories of Fire and Fighting, you can put Blaziken, Infernape, or whatever Pokemon is both of those types.
Once you've used a Pokemon, you can't use it again or change your response. For example, if you observe that a Pokemon can fit in two distinct boxes, make sure you choose properly since after you submit it, your answer is LOCKED.
The first two columns and three rows will always be Pokemon types. The third column will be our special column, which will include (various areas, legendaries, and other items).
When the special column matches a kind, the Pokemon DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THAT kind. The Pokemon can have two types as long as one of them matches the type in the correct row.
When a certain region is a category, you must include a Pokémon from that region. For example, you can catch Pidgey in a plethora of regions throughout all video games, but Pidgey will only count for Kanto. For the time being, Mega Evolution Pokemon will be found in the region where the initial form of the Pokemon was discovered. For example, both Mega Charizards will be classified as Kanto.
We have a special column called Legendary. Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beast Pokemon will be included in that column.
It's okay if you didn't get all nine correct! You can always try again the next day. Every day at midnight EST, we generate a new puzzle at random!
